The natural latex can be layered on skin with tissue or cotton wool to build texture. It may also be used for selected prosthetic blending and small moulding or craft projects where liquid latex is suitable.

How to use for FX makeup

1. Patch test before use.
2. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry, hair-free skin using a disposable special-effects sponge or brush.
3. For textured wounds, add thin tissue or cotton wool and build gradually with additional latex.
4. Allow each layer to dry fully before applying the next. Use only cool air if speeding up drying.
5. Once finished, powder or seal the effect before colouring with suitable makeup.

Removal

Gently peel the dried latex from the skin, then wash away residue with soap and warm water. Never apply over body hair, eyebrows, eyelashes or other hair-bearing areas, as removal can be painful.
